The three southern Nevada clubs showed up in full force this weekend for the annual Club Challenge on Lake Mohave.  BAF brought twelve teams to represent, and represent they did.  With high winds in the forecast, a great percentage of the field decided to stay close and out of harms way.  It seems that those that went out of the "safe zone" found the quality fish.  As far as bait selection goes, it definitely seemed to run the full spectrum in regards to pre-spawn.  The days are getting a touch longer and these long warm spells between cold fronts are putting the bass in an unpredictable funk.  In determining the Challenge win, the top eight scores were tallied between the three clubs.  Congrats to us, Bass Anglers Federation, for a victory by 5.15lbs.  BAF had 81.25lbs, NBA had 76.10lbs, and LVB came in at 64.4lbs.  Congrats to Tim Myers and Bob Keck.  With a total weight of 14.60lbs and a big fish of 4.20lbs, they paved the way for a club challenge victory.  Dock talk leads this writer to believe that Bob was ON FIRE!  Bob had to rub it in with a nice 4.20 big fish!  Thanks for coming off tour to fish with us, Bob.  Well done.  Here's how it panned out for the rest of the Club Challenge winners.  Oh, yeah, almost forgot,  WE'RE THE SH*T!
